Most of the still life photography in this gallery was commissioned to promote commercial products or services.
This gallery contains photographs taken with old tins and boxes. The pinhole photography project is largely non-commercial however but I can deliver talks and workshops on the subject. If you would like more information please call me on 07973 631185 or email mail@nigelgoldsmith.co.uk
Pinhole photography project. All of these images were taken on silver based film with cameras made from household waste. These primitive cameras do not need power and do not have delicate moving parts and are of no real value and so can be left to take images over extended periods. The exposure times ranged from 6 months to over a year. The lines in the images are produced by the passage of the sun through the seasons. The colours have not been added digitally but are a product of the traditional positive / negative process and some discolouration of the photographic material.
You can see more examples of this project on a dedicated website www.pinholewizard.co.uk
